Id certainly recommend trombone as well! I played up to a "professional" (paid regular gigs) level and can assure you that your disability would be able to be accommodated for. The left hand on basic "pea-shooter" trombone, not trigger or bass which are more specialized, just supports the weight and braces the horn. Im certain that if there's not already a wrist strap type accommodation, one could easily be designed for your specific needs. Typically the horns weight rests between the thumb and the first finger, which braces the top of the slide from rolling left/right and the back end goes on your shoulder. You may need to open the bell further from the slide to rest on your shoulder more, adding extra roll stability. Im sure it can be done, and I'd be proud to see a disabled trombonist living their best life! A tiny bit of research led me to this, check it out! https://www.amazon.com/Neotech-5131001-Trombone-Grip/dp/B0040ZNMNI And if trombone needs some cool points in your eyes, check out William Bilal or Trombone Shorty. https://youtu.be/QUV9ceHZgp4?is=NkNQzqX7ljJkc-dH
