Clarification for the younger crowd: Nissin Top Ramen was first sold in the USA as Oodles of Noodles in the late 70s and 80s. You can see some older 90s packaging on this blog post, where they had rebranded to Top Ramen but kept the 'oodles of noodles' slogan. (These are Amazon links but that's just to show you the packaging.) You also might consider stirring in a tiny bit of butter to your noodles after they've cooked, since prepackaged foods in the 70s and 80s generally had more dehydrated dairy fats before the companies figured out how to replace them with cheaper substitutes.
