Those prices are ridiculous. You can get a TP Link AXE5400 router for $99 on Amazon, which gives FAR better Wi-Fi signal than any of Verizon's routers and an AC1200 Wi-Fi extender for $20 if you still need it that can use mesh with the router and you'd have much better coverage than what they're trying to sell you. They tried to sell me on the same setup a few months ago when we setup our new place and the signals we were getting from their equipment were absolute trash. Get a WiFi 6e router if you’re going to get a dedicated router. This will provide a 6Ghz connection via WiFi which will be uncontested network for the Quest to connect to. You plug the current ethernet cable from your pc into the WAN port of the new router and get another lan cable (normally every router you buy has one included anyway) to connect the pc to a free lan port on the router.
