okay i have a pretty big film dev throughput, #1 how are you developing? i have found great success with the jobo 1520+1530 extensions, doing rotary development i only need 570~600 ml of chemistry, im planning a 1520+1530+1530, lets me develop about 8 rolls of 135 or 10 120 rolls of film for 900ml of chemistry. using a kit like the kodak 5L as a one shot your able to develop about 45 rolls of 135 film in 6 session's, with replenishment you should be able to find quite a bit of economy. of course i do plan on getting and might be more worth it for you to jump to the 2000 series drum tanks for 4x5 and paper prints (will also do 120&135). rotary proccessing i mostly do by hand but plan on re-setting up a new arduino motor rotary solution (water killed the old one 💀. and plenty of videos with peoples simple machine solutions . . . or stuff like the THD CP lift ) for drying instead of a full on dry wood cabnet dry rack you can get a "portable" dryer. the jobo mistral 3 is a very solid options ( i use a cheap amazon portable clothes dryer. . . i have the hanger version and the bag it comes with allows for 120 or 24 ex rolls, i used to cut the 36ex rolls in half. but the underlying machine with a little mods can be adjusted to hold several rolls, and i have sewn a double length "bag" to allow for full 36ex or 220 rolls. (on a bit of research the offical jobo solution might be your best bet. all the things similar to what i own dont really work easily with film. . . maybe this? tube one. cant really fully recommend that tho) as for scanning . . . depends on what you have available. i think dslr scanning could be really fast if you own a valoi holder/advancer. . . idk im still a big fan of the computer options plustek stuff, the nikon coolscan's can scan and autoadvance a whole roll of film in one go (i do mainly shoot 120 so i have my heart set on the plustek optic film 120) i do use vuescan as i think they both suck, but silverfast software is actual garbage sometimes 😛 for 4x5 i would do a flatbed scanner or have a modular dslr scanning rig
