I recently got some Gundam markers (https://a.co/d/0i38zmN0) and have been testing them out for color correction on an HG Nemo, and the thing I'm noticing is just how thinned out the markers are. They come out decent when applying to light colors, but on dark colors I am definitely having to apply a layer of white as a primer before using the red or yellow, and even then I'll need 2+ coats. I have the metallic Gundam markers and those come out a lot thicker. I'm mainly just worried about how runny the paint is and having it seep into places I don't want it. Are these markers just crap? I know everyone recommends the DSPIAE markers but every vendor only has like 1-3 of the colors I want so I'd have to buy from multiple different places requiring multiple shipping charges. Maybe I should have just sucked it up for the better quality.
