I just use a cheap pin vise for my drilling. Hit the bearings with some light machine oil or bike chain oil every so often and it will work perfectly fine. Unless you're consistently pinning things, drilling a ton of barrels, or have arthritis, I wouldn't consider an electric one necessary. That said, I will say Carbide drill bits for PCBs are a game changer. They're brittle, but they're sharp. They cut through plastic, wood, and resin like a champ. That said, I've broken a couple bits because I inadvertently tried to bend the bit by moving the piece. They're sharp, and hard, so they'll snap. The Ruitool nippers have been absolute champs for the past 10 months. Cuts plastic like it's butter.

Here are the nippers I got. Good value for this price. https://a.co/d/05xSU8kj

I have these ruitool sprue cutters https://a.co/d/09VSQJGK They cut through sprues with no effort without pinching the plastic. They are also great for trimming flush the sprue joints on your parts. Only use them on plastic though

Those nippers are going to be garbage. Tamiya nippers are going to give u a much better experience. They are a little pricey but worth it. These are pretty good also i have used them before. https://www.amazon.com/RUITOOL-Beginners-Ultra-thin-Single-edged-Non-slip/dp/B0BVH9KCF7?crid=2ECILSMQPNZ8S&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.SzV1U4yRMjIXMk5GAESnT7u03TLeIgeBYYNi27Ewsy9q1C1_R6o_p6zNkH5JRrKZmh_xVFQvW8wSjdHwWJTuKsSXF6I0ZYK2V4Iu69iS7GRpZ6TyxXygIE6vDsdJ5RFExcnmitatTxGjS16Zjirm1I0CfI6LHfhm7ADyWStHxZUdpOJZXug2unpbmsikRQ_Yk4zjyl0YGxiZR20VWqSbe8rz4TmNJEsvzJYsKa8I9Wc-dHJ2fcH7Pgl5b7xq9nxPf694a6nFLq85GSohrVL55GTOJ1fPoQpxMwOITe4RYTI.Yn8M86vNerp5Syqambu2caxGS_zHp7_o_bOSC56slWk&dib_tag=se&keywords=tamiya%2Bnippers&qid=1768740811&sprefix=tamiya%2Bnippers%2Caps%2C254&sr=8-3&th=1

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVH9KCF7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 The purple ones. Best nippers in that price range. Incredibly sharp. Just cut slow, the blade part is a little thin and prone to bending.
