I just got one of these to stick on a rocket. It's just under 1"x1"x1". Testing it today, on a full charge I get ~30 minutes of okayish 1080p video. For $16 it's about as good as I can expect.

Unfortunately out of the budget, but the standard in the engineering club I am in is the runcam split 4 V2, starts recording when powered on, stops when powered off. Video and sound are amazing, and it goes up to 4k 30fps. Its about $85 on Amazon though. For something cheaper, we will use what we call "spy cams" which are pretty cheap, but the quality is just so-so The spycams look kinda like this https://a.co/d/d5RrnJs
