https://a.co/d/0hthhOsoThis is what I use for substrate. You want more of a chunky bark mix (maybe with some moss if your orchid likes moisture) than a "soil" of any kind. They are air plants, and will rot and suffocate if buried in anything too fine. Be sure your pot has holes in the sides for aeration (most "orchid pots" have this) and is about an inch or so bigger than the current pot, assuming your plants has outgrown its current pot. That, plus the chunky bark mix and a good watering to start is usually how I repot mine. Happy planting!
