If the food that you are serving has a barcode, you can scan it in the app, and it will tell you how many carbs are in it. If you do get it, make sure you get the “smart” one. Being able to weigh my food rather than measure it has made my life slightly easier.

You can scan barcodes on the foods that you want to weigh, and it tells you how many carbs you have on the app on your phone. It’s so much more accurate and easier then measuring everything. If the food doesn’t have a barcode (example: apple,) it has a large database that you can use to find the food you want. If you decide to get it, make sure you get the smart food scale one. On the amazon website it gives you 2 options, and one of them doesn’t include the smart food app.
