I own adjustable dumbbells too, specifically these, and they don’t obstruct your grip as you add more weight. Most decent sets don’t have that issue. The quick-adjust sets like mine are way more functional than the one in the video. With that one, you have to screw and unscrew both sides and manually add or remove weights every time you want to change the weight. It looks cool, but it seems way less practical.
