I have the same problem. Only left shoe toebox, from dragging my foot as I hit a twoey. I apply Shoe Goo. where a tube is only $7 on Amazon. One application probably only covers a few play sessions but it's way cheaper than a whole new shoe, especially when its literally just the toebox seeing damage. YMMV. I have two pairs that I cycle between at this point and they sit in this box as they dry.
