As you are new the the hobby, definitely start with a tupperdor or jarador. Get a tupperware with a gasket, like this one. Or an airtight jar like this one. You don't need any cedar trays or anything else. You can get them if you like, but they are unnecessary. Use Boveda for humidification. Reference this chart for which size Boveda packs, and how many. It is possible to have too little in terms of size/volume, it is not possible to have too much. So err on the side of going larger/more than you think you need to. Use 62% or 65% Bovedas. In airtight containers like these, they will run about 3-points high. So the 62 will even out around 65, and the 65s around 68. I recommend 62s. Get a digital hygrometer that you can calibrate, if you wish. It is also fine to just trust the Bovedas, provided you have enough of them. If you need help dialing in the Bovedas, feel free to ask once you have identified a container. Wooden humidors look pretty, but are honestly much more inefficient for storage, for a variety of reasons. Especially the ones you're going to find on Amazon. I would not start again with one, if I knew then what I know now. My wooden humidor serves as a drybox and band storage, these days.
