Regarding the fire hazard, it's the same as in any other room. In the worst case scenario, just put a fire alarm in there, or maybe one of those Fire Suppression Balls that you can find around. It will damage electronics, but it's better than fire. I don't have anything on mine to be honest, but the bedroom already have a fire alarm and I removed the carpet myself and put a laminated floor (easier to clean). I added some foam gaskets around the door, similar to the ones you put on windows and doors and you supposedly need to re-do annually to keep air inside your house. There's still a small gap because I removed the carpet, but it already helps a lot with sound. And overall it's completely fine to me. I also added an air purifier inside the closet so it keeps VOC controlled when I'm printing ASA. This room is also easier to add a vent, if you prefer to vent externally, I don't even need a duct in my case, as one of its walls is external, so, just put a vent there and you are done. But I won't do that as I think that is unnecessary. Regarding small spaces, technically a printer is a enclosed space by itself, so, you are just adding another layer of closed space. My office is a 10x11 feet space, plus the closet, and I'm trying to organize it, so one side is my computer side, where I have an old large standing desk, a regular printer in a stand, and a drawer that I got from Amazon. On the other side I built a workbench with some plywood and added some shelves and a storage space, that I will (probably, one day) build a set of drawers as well. That way my computer side I leave it as organized as possible, and the workbench side I use for any project that I have. If you intend to expand your collection, look at getting a cabinet. I have this one from Amazon. Each drawer holds well over 100 bottles. You could get this one if you need storage space for supplies. I b added a couple of clear plastic drawers for supplies. If you don’t need it to be mobile, don’t add the wheels. If you do need mobility, change the wheels to true casters. I have one of each cabinet. 😂 I have a bit of a collection!
