Equate Bed and Bath Grip Bar Bathtub and Shower Handle, 11.5" HSA/FSA Eligible

We also have a tub shower combo in the kids (college age). That was a hard no (not the cleanest of places) plus it is way to narrow to maneuver. From what I gather the best option for that sort of tub is a sliding chair that can go over the tub edge and a handheld shower. There are YouTube videos... Ours is also a stall shower but we do have a footing to step over. I transfer myself from a chair on the outside to one in the inside. We also had from one of our kids elementary school days a Waterpik shower head that has a handheld shower head. This has been a tremendous benefit for taking a normal shower. Finally for the shower we got a suction cup grip bar (https://www.walmart.com/ip/355262006?sid=2b20f826-166f-464f-a567-529cb385db81) for standing on one leg for those hard to reach places - be careful. It's my right leg that's injured so I'm doing this all under the watchful eye of my wife.
