I mostly just prioritized getting something that seemed to have favorable reviews and I’d been exposed to this product across a couple of fora. Had I been more concerned with cost, I might’ve done that; I confess I’m not terribly aware of offerings on AliExpress as I’ve never searched it for anything. In principle, it’s certainly a simple product. I’ve only put about 3000 miles on the bike since I got it around April 1 or so, so I’m sure others would probably have more to say on accessories. That being said, I got all the OEM accessories that were available in the US. I like the top case, but am less favorable on the panniers because they open to the side instead of from the top. I use a quad lock mount with the vibration dampener for my phone, a little stylus tied to the handlebars for the phone to use when I’m stopped (so I don’t need to remove gloves), and I mounted this garage door opener to my handlebars. I use an Insta360 X5 as my dash cam. I use the OEM USB accessory to switch between charging the X5 and my phone on longer trips. So far the bike has been great; my girlfriend has been on the pillion for about 1500 of those miles, and she’s found it comfortable (I got the “comfort” OEM seats, which I’m sure helped).
