We went for Christmas and I had the same fear! This was a do over trip for last years Bahamas vacation where we lost over half of it to covid. Here are my suggestions (sorry for any formatting, on mobile): Get your updated vaccines. I got Covid, Flu, and Tetanus because it had been around 10 years since my last one. There are no other annual vaccines or anything outside the normal vaccination schedule for the area Xcaret is in. You should be super prepared with just those 3. Protect yourself. We masked in the airport, on the plane, and on the bus to Xcaret. We brought mini packs of clorox wipes and individual hand sanitizer packs and cleaned our areas right after we sat down on both the bus and plane. These do not count towards your liquid limit at TSA, we were not given any issues. But, we do have TSA Precheck. Medical liquids in reasonable quantities do not count towards your liquid limit, so contact solution, inhalers, ointment, etc are all fine. We brought an entire pharmacy because the medication at Xcaret is expensive and I am a walking medical problem. Excedrin migraine (I'm headache prone), Ibuprofen (we went through the whole pack, I have joint problems), laxative, anti diarrhea, nausea chews, Tums, Bandaid, antibiotics (i pretended to have a uti on a video doctor call to get these just in case I got a uti down there, my stepmother got one on her trip to Mexico and it sucked), inhaler, allegra (I had a freak allergic reaction towards the end of the trip and this saved me), mucinex d extra strength, cough drops, and we bought a rash cream there because my eczema flared. We brought a lot, but we learned from the last trip what we would need if it happened again. Sorry for the monster post, but I hope this helps! It sounds like a lot but honestly, the travel size containers make it manageable. I also brought this for the non medication stuff like nausea chews, cough drops, and Bandaid: https://a.co/d/hpktxCI
