This is how I did mine and what I used.It will work very well. Change the filter in a thousand miles or so. You will be amazed. I use zerex original green. It’s made for our old junk. I’ve been running it for a couple years and it’s still clear and green.Looks like yours is filtering after the heater core though. This will still trap stuff in the core.
