And you always have the one guy who’s like „well actshually if one always lies how can he explain the rules!?“ it’s a riddle dipshit he doesn’t literally always say the opposite he will just lie when you ask him a question. The question is made more difficult to understand by the way it is presented in this image... which is not a faithful interpretation of the riddle. Yes, I'm being that guy. The rules of the riddle are explained by the riddle itself, not by the doors. Having the doors state the rules does indeed fuck the entire situation up, and people being confused by that are not being unreasonable. I have seen this riddle hundreds of times, and never have I see the doors presenting the rules.
