So I got outside on an empty lawn and put it a meter above the ground with more milk crates. I will eventually use a taller camera tripod. The data is gathered from one of these I got 6 years ago and plotted in Excel. I've used it with success to tune 1/2 wave dipoles and 1/4 wave ground plane antennas. None have been higher than VHF though. Yeah seems to be something to do with the feeding.
