You might consider a BedJet with the single zone cloud sheet. I'm not sure how that would impact your husband in a shared bed as my husband and I have a split king, which is two xl twins together and we each have our own separate bedding, but the thing has been a life saver for both of us to control our sleeping climates. My husband, who was suffering terrible temperature disregulation and night sweats, loves it so much that he now owns three; one for his bed, one that he uses with a sleeping bag on the couch (it blows up like a balloon, lol), and a BedJet mini that he uses for work trips. If you get one and find that it does bother your husband, you might consider using it with a sleeping bag. This one ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DX6WYJF7 ) has a zipper that can open on the bottom for the BedJet hose to be inserted. It contains the blowing air very well for individual climate comfort without impacting others.
