Well this post has encouraged me proceed forward and replace my bent brake lever right away. I ordered the recommended Amazon replacement https://a.co/d/0dhl7ZvO took out the nut and bolt slipped in the new lever and replaced the bolt & nut. I should mention that the Amazon order has two levers, one for each side, there is no left side clutch lever to replace. The lever is a single piece, no pull wires attached. But it's a Ryvid motorcycle repair so of course there had to be some sort of an nerve wracking issue. I go to loosen the bolt with my carefully socket and mini ratchet, and I gently tug on the nut on the underside of the lever to loosen it. It doesn't budge. So I put a little more force to it. Doesn't budge. So I put even more force on it still doesn't budge. So at this point I'm concerned with the stripping the nut and really complicating my life. So I take vise grips and attach it to the bolt, which gives me a tight hold and it's a larger tool with more leverage. I tug on this with more force than I'm really comfortable but sometimes you do what you got to do and I hear a click, fortunately not a snap. This loosened The nut on the underside, and then I was able to use the ratchet to remove the bolt and nut. The bolt only has threads towards the bottom, the rest is smooth to create the pivot point for the lever. So mission accomplished
