In trying to think what it could be because I get itchy and can scratch myself raw. It’s all over tho but never my legs. I started putting Cera Ve on and it went away so maybe dry skin. I use the skin protective wipes in flare ups and it stops the itch and soothes it right away. I do get a rash from cold induced uticaria with ice machine after surgery and I’m allergic to adhesives on bandages so I use the wipes there too. https://a.co/d/0boXhhZM

There are also special skin-prep wipes that are made specifically to protect your skin from adhesives, there are a couple of different brands but these are the ones I've used for needing long term medical adhesives with super sensitive skin.

I asked Visible about maybe using a barrier cream like Gloves in a Bottle, or maybe Skin-Prep protective wipes and said I wondered if it would be okay as long as I let them dry before putting on the band. They said it's not recommended but that I could try it. I'm thinking of getting a box of the Skin-Prep to try. They're used with glucose monitors just fine, and my doctor used one on me before applying my Zio heart monitor when I had to do that (I'm allergic to some adhesives and 2 weeks with an allergic reaction would be miserable.) The Skin-Prep helped reduce my reaction to the Zio adhesive a lot, and if it didn't interfere with that I think it might be okay with the Visible sensor, but IDK for sure. Edit to add: Skin-Prep also applies a super thin barrier.

I had that. I have to use skin prep around incision but not on it where adhesive is on bandage and a silicon bandage and no problem at all now. I’m giving it to surgical team for my next knee. https://a.co/d/0dCUDdef https://a.co/d/030dMA6I

I use this before each sensor. Let it dry about 15 seconds. No more itch. I’m allergic to adhesives. You can even wipe it on your skin as near as possible to the sensor you already have on and it will help. https://a.co/d/0fPszenw
