I can only be honest and recommend my own, set during the Bronze Age Collapse just after the fall of Troy. I'm told they're more for the more advanced reader but still have all the elements of great historical fiction: real history, real mythology, fascinating characters, war, love, and sex, and most important, characters that learn and develop.
