I'm in a similar situation, where my partner loves a heavy black tea flavor and I keep 2 pitchers of the stuff in the fridge for him to cut down on single-use plastic bottles. I'm a huge fan of Kenyan black tea for this. I typically brew my own 2L to take to work every morning, and when I'm done add a good portion of the Kenyan to the tea maker and make it for him too.
