Hell yeah welcome to the club. I think I may have the last of the S50s ever made and love it. Recommendations: I find the pictures come out with less failed captures setting the scope in EQ mode. I picked up a TH10 head to get it in that mode, bought the INNOREL F20 https://www.amazon.com/ZWO-TH10-Equatorial-Compatible-TC20/dp/B0FN82ZLHM?s=electronics and it works great. Added the vibration pucks. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0140UAD20 Added dew shield which will help with the street lights. This was for my S50 but look for one that works for you. https://www.amazon.com/Dew-Shield-Seestar-Telescope-Accessories/dp/B0DMFPSN54 Now I never had it in the rain it has got very damp outside due to condensation, but it wasn't an issue. I would take it in the house if rain is coming for sure... I have seen online water getting behind the lens and doesn't look good. APPS on my phone/iPad: Clearoutside, AstroWindow and Telescopius (all free) helps finding objects for planing that don't always show up in Seestar "best of the night" Keep objects between 30 and 75/80 degrees and the images come out awesome. I have a bortel 4/5 where I am at and 10 or 20 second exposures are good. If I am failing a lot in 20 seconds I stop and drop it to 10. If you have a lower bortel go 30 or 60 seconds... If you want to stack images I am still learning Siril and boy do some images come out WOW.If you need help setting up the EQ mode as its a PITA the first time you can DM me.
