This is what I use on my Swift Catalyst bag. It’s rotated down behind the bag to keep it from touching the head tube, but would also work perfectly to keep it off your tire. I also use a twist tie to attach the bottom of the bag to this bar, which stops it from bouncing on rough terrain. It’s a surprisingly elegant and functional setup. These things weigh and cost practically nothing compared to a full rack.
