I can't directly answer your question because I haven't used Bravecto Quantum. I do use Symparica Trio, and I give it to my dog every 30 days without fail, year round. My dog still ended up getting anaplasmosis! I think anaplasmosis may be transmitted faster than some of the other tick-borne diseases, so it's possible your dog could have gotten this even if you were 100% on track with preventatives. My big hesitation about the quantum shot would be that if your pup does have a bad reaction, the medication's duration of action lasts a lot longer than the monthly chewables. Definitely worth chatting to your vet about it. If you decide to stick with the standard Bravecto, consider getting something like this countdown clock. I got one, stuck it on my fridge, and set it for 30 days. When it starts beeping, that's when I give my dog his next dose of Symparica Trio. Since it's on the fridge, I also glance at it occasionally so I always know when I'm getting close to needing the next dose. I've been using it for the last couple years, and since I started using it, my dog has gotten his chewable exactly every 30 days, without fail.
