I use ASUS mesh routers throughout my house. One thing you can do besides the wireless mesh system is to use powerline adapters for backhaul connection. I use powerline for my network backhaul on my mesh system and to also reach my detached garage. This one is 1000 megabits_per_second with passthrough https://www.amazon.com/Powerline-Ethernet-Adapter-Extender-TP-Link/dp/B08M13B8B6/ref=zg_bs_g_1194444_d_sccl_1/131-7968347-2691418?th=1 And this one is 2000 megabits_per_second with passthrough https://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Powerline-Pass-Through-TL-PA9020P-KIT/dp/B01H74VKZU/ref=zg_bs_g_1194444_d_sccl_2/131-7968347-2691418?th=1 If your network is not over 1Gig then the 2Gig adapter is not likely needed. You do want the passthrough so you can plug things into it like your router. My Powerline adapters in the house block both ports on my outlet because the outlet is too close to the baseboards, but that isn't an issue for me.

If there are two RP-SMA connections you can just get an extension like this otherwise you would need to get something like this. If you can't or don't want to occupy a PCIe slot with a wifi adapter your other option is do a wifi repeater closer to the desktop. As others have said hard line is better, would either a powerline or MoCA be an option? The SATA cable is probably just an extra accessory cable that came with the motherboard so if you ever wanted to plug in more hard drives you have the cable.

PlayStation Portal Case with Detachable Front Shell I like the cases with detachable fronts. Easier to throw in my backpack and go. Other ones are too bulky for my liking Also, make sure your PS5 has a direct ethernet connection to your router. It'll improve your experience a LOT. If that's not possible, Powerline Network Adapters are a great option
