We just waited. Took until around 5. Certainly wasn't ideal for us or our bank account, but it's what was best for our twins. Eventually I just told me wife we had to do it because of the cost of diapers for both of them. We pulled the diapers during the day and just sat them on the potty regularly. It was extra hard because one of the boys was basically on a liquid diet at the time. So he pee'd A LOT. They are now 6.5 and great through the day. We still put them in a pull up at night, but I think we can stop that soon. Wife and I just need to accept that it's going to be a few weeks of little sleep while we get through it.
