How to assess the damage Get a non-contact voltage tester Turn off the power to the sockets on that floor Check there is no power with the non-contact voltage tester Unwrap the red electricians tape and discard Post picture here Fixing the Damage: Depending on the state of the wires underneath you will need to trim any damaged wires back (carefully, if you trim too much you won't be able to use the inline connectors, and this will need to have extra wire and wagos fitted to complete the circuit safely, which will then require stuffing into the wall somehow.) Buy or source small piece of plasterboard or PB patch/repair kit, and some decorators filler Buy or source a small length of (I think it's 2.5mm Twin and Earth, someone will correct me) Screwfix only sell 10m lengths Buy or source some Wago inline connectors Buy/source some VDE pliers (electricians pliers with extra insulation), used for cutting and manipulating the wires Depending on how bad the damage is, cut them back and refit them in the Wagos.
