Youll find online a lot of people recommending the use of a dremel to smooth edges, and its definitely doable that way, but Ive done enough with that technique to know that its extremely touchy and very easy to create uneven "divots" along the edge as you go. Personally, I recommend a belt sander. I got a mini table top belt sander as a kinda "gag gift" a while back and it actually turned into my go to sanding device for eva edges because you can use both hands to hold amd guide the foam at the angle youre looking to do and create nice, smooth edges without much work at all. Its been a huge step up from a dremel imo.
