256 feels small - wish I'd had the $ to get 512g. My solution was to get one of these to use if I have to record longer videos - the way it fits snug right at the bottom and had a pass through USB C makes it easier to use than a regular memory stick (I also use a memory stick for photo dumps so I can clear things out if needed).
