The same think happened to me after wearing it for 5 days straight. I switched to nylon and wear it 24/7, including in the shower. It great. Here’s the one I use. I’ve tried many and wear a nylon strap with pin buckle. I like it even more than the Garmin OEM nylon. It looks more tactical and is more comfortable for me. Also, it can be worn in most any occasion including work settings and the gym.
