I had an issue for a while where I was dropping my wrists so my hands were bent back, made my hands fall asleep. If your wrists aren't straight that could be a cause. Grips with wings, the ones I like are the Ergon GA3 https://a.co/d/09Mr6dPE fixed it for me.
