I have Classics release of The Vision of Escaflowne TV. As a subtitle person, I never noticed this before. However, I can confirm some inconsistencies between the way the dub is listed on the discs: Disc 1: DOLBY TRUEHD 5.1 ENGLISH (2016) Disc 2: DOLBY TRUEHD 2.0 ENGLISH (2001) Disc 3: DOLBY TRUEHD 5.1 ENGLISH (2016) or DOLBY TRUEHD 2.0 ENGLISH (2001) Disc 4: DOLBY TRUEHD 5.1 ENGLISH (2016) or DOLBY TRUEHD 2.0 ENGLISH (2001) Disc 5: DOLBY TRUEHD 5.1 ENGLISH (2016) or DOLBY TRUEHD 2.0 ENGLISH (2001) This seems like a raw deal for anyone who prefers to listen to the dub. I can personally recommend the original Japanese language track. This show has a great Japanese voice cast. I hope this helps. Cheers!
