I would say get a 10-incher like this one. They also make 13- and 16-inchers, which I actually do remember from back in the day, but they were used by the younger grades (like K through 2nd), as they moved slower and were easier to manage. The most popular ones that I remember using were the same diameter we used for Dodgeball, which would appear to be the 10-inch ones. I introduced handball to my son (about 9-10 yrs. old) when he came home with a Dave & Busters playground ball that he won. It had the same texture and size, so I immediately brought him to a wall and showed him the ropes, lol. I taught him those slicies and man... the look on his face when he came home thrilled that he basically swept the whole class with it lol... they had absolutely no idea where that move even came from. They were like "Hey!! No fair!!!" lol Hope you find a good wall or court soon! It's a great workout. I was actually thinking of starting a league, in the same way that there's Kickball leagues for adults. I think it would take off!
