Hi, I was alt-punk in high school and if you are comfortable wearing a Star of David (maybe like this one or this) then go for it. Ultimately you have to know your friends and the scene you are part of. In theory, those who are dress alternative are individuals and should respect your individuality. Ironically, there can also be a lot of groupthink and judgement when it comes to anything that doesn’t symbolize the ethos of alt culture. It’s sort of like how the punk scene is, in general, very against organized religion even though they espouse thinking for yourself.
