My husband works on different sites and keeps his lunch in his truck. He uses a combo of an Engel Drybox cooler and Ice Brix packs we bought on amazon. You can also throw in some frozen water bottles in place of some or all of the ice packs. But don't plan on drinking those frozen bottles later because most things stay almost completely frozen all day in that cooler. I usually pack it at 5 am and when he comes home at 5:30pm the ice packs are still half frozen and any food or sodas he didn't eat/drink during the day are still as cold as from the fridge or even colder. Engel Cooler Ice Brix I know the cooler is kind of expensive, but you get what you pay for. This thing will last. Before we got this, he was using an Ozark Trail soft cooler from Walmart which was about $20. The zippers fail on those things within months. We bought three of them about every 6 months before I splurged on the Engel when we got our tax refund.
