I do this! Always have had poor dorsiflexion and surgery has worsened it in 1 leg. I tried the R-fit heel lifts first (in Solaris boot) but wanted a bit more height than they offered. Felt a massive improvement in my stance/getting low with chest tall & no difference in feel. If you get heel slip jam straps may be enough to help. I still make sure to focus on knee over toe/ankle mobility in my cross training for strength & stability in this range but it’s been a huge help. Got these off Amazon and currently use 2 “slices” in each skate): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0CW5YQQ7P?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Yo! You know what helps? Is the grocery store or Amazon brand heel wedges. They are 2mm thick and you can stack like 3 in there and remove one every couple weeks. Or never 🤷🏻‍♂️. I put them under the factory insole. A lone peak with 4mm drop is 🔥 Something like this: https://a.co/d/0aQvfAHR
