I like to use screen wipes like these. I use them for my laptops and phone as well.

Get some canned air or a compressor and go over it and blow all the dust out of the sliders and knobs and off the unit. Do not use stainless steel polish on it because you will strip off all the printing and labels. Make sure when you clean the sliders and knobs and pots on the motherboard that you use Deoxit Fader spray. Normal deoxit will eat away the factory electrolytic grease and ruin the sliders. They also have FaderGrease that you apply to those parts that will replace the factory grease.
