OK, AC fixed, and I did not have to sell a kidney to pay for it. In general, solar panels are very good. But you need to aim them at the sun and maybe adjust every 2-3 hours. Solar panels are rated under perfect lab conditions. Most panels will provide about 75-85% of rated output during the high sun hours on a nice sunny day. Less then that during the shoulder hours and under cloudy or shady conditions. You cannot just connect any solar panel to any power station. The specs must be compatible. The most important is volts. All power stations will indicate the min and max DC (solar) input volts that are allowed. The important spec on the solar panel is VOC (Voltage Open Circuit). This is the max output volts to be expected and this MUST always be lower then the max input volts allowed by the power station. You will also see specs for amps and watts but those can be exceeded somewhat. Exceeding the max volts into a power station will result in a fried circuit board and that is not covered under warranty. I have panels from Jackery, Renogy, Anker, Sokiovola, and Zoupw. My Zoupw panels kill all the others. They are the only ones that meet their rated capacity and will often exceed it. So I only buy and recommend Zoupw panels now. I have a couple of the Pecron E500LFP power stations and I have a Zoupw 100 watt panel for each one. That panel can give me 100-110 watts on a sunny day. So it will normally replenish a 500-600WH power station on a good sunny day. So this is the panel I recommend to you if you get that Pecron and want a solar panel. The panel comes with all needed connectors and a 10 ft extension cord. You may want to get a longer extension cord so I will post a link to the one I get. You can get several different lengths. The object is to keep the power station in the shade (for cooling) but also keep the panel in the sun. Note that a power station is not in the least waterproof !
