Display boxes add a bit of joy to the unboxing process, but they're a waste really. I can't throw them away just in case I want to flip the watch, and they take up storage room. I'm not keeping them out, even if they look nice. Travel rolls are nice in that they're useful, but a single-watch travel roll isn't very useful to me. Plus, they can too often get bulky (which isn't good for me because space is always at a premium in my luggage). So my favorite packaging is usually something like a lightly padded canvas watch case, something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Organizer-Watches-Handmade-Hide-Drink/dp/B079L9V4RH Direnzo used to include that as packaging. I like it a lot and still use it (even though I flipped the watch!) That makes the unpacking a little less special, but it's way more practical.
