I heard you wanted something fun. This is a self rec. Maybe Grand Magus, Wooden Sword is up your alley. It’s a tale about a boy who unknowingly inherited an ancient talking stafff. It’s a Progression / Cultivation / Comedy. Heavy emphasis on comedy. My inspiration for writing this story stems from The Greatest Estate Developer and Return of Mt Hua Sect. I hope you get some laughs in.

Musashi might be it.

Excited to share some great news for Grand Magus, Wooden Sword! The story is coming to audiobook! It will be narrated by the talented AW McClellan, who has voiced several titles like Mayor of Mythos. After reading Musashi’s adventures, he got hooked and signed on despite his busy schedule. We’re aiming for a release between July and early September. If you haven’t checked it out yet, Grand Magus, Wooden Sword is available now on Kindle and free with Kindle Unlimited. Book Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H3WBXMHS Blurb: Twelve-year-old Musashi thinks he’s a genius. He’s not. Instead of a legendary sword, he gets a snarky staff that never shuts up. The same staff that claims to have once toppled kings and was held by the greatest mage in history is now scratching his back. It’s not amused. Throw in clan wars, a touch of raging hormones, and a ragtag bunch of misfits trying to fit in… and you’ve got yourself a riot. Grand Magus, Wooden Sword: I Was Carved From the World Tree and This is an Insult (Shinkenkai Book 1) Hey guys, I wrote this story originally on Royal Road. It's a fun progression fantasy you can just kick back and enjoy. Same vibe as Greatest Estate Developer and Return of the Mount Hua Sect—good humor, some drama, and no brain-melting complexity. It just dropped on Amazon. Book Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H3WBXMHS Twelve-year-old Musashi thinks he’s some kind of tactical genius. He’s really not. The ancient staff he’s carrying has toppled kings, ended wars, and outlived empires… and right now he’s using it to scratch his lower back. The staff is not thrilled about this. Instead of a cool sword, Musashi got a sentient, loud-mouthed relic that’s always got an opinion—and somehow always right. It’s infuriating. Now throw in clan wars, old blood feuds, and a Demon Lord nobody’s prepared for. All of it landing on one overconfident kid with a stick who has no idea what he’s walking into. It’s funny as hell… until it suddenly isn’t. Then it’s both at the same time. Here’s what you’re getting: Clan wars and rivalries that leave people short a few limbs and holding generational grudges A weapon that never shuts up and is always right (which makes it so much worse) A messy, earned coming-of-age story with no cheap shortcuts Real consequences One unqualified twelve-year-old with way too much confidence charging headfirst into everything What Readers Think: I ****ing love Musashi bro, and his dad is funny asl too ❤️ 😭 The character dynamics are honestly the highlight for me,keep up the great work! lol that was a fun! The characters are very likable and unique. The battle scenes are very well done and flow well.

Grand Magus, Wooden Sword: I Was Carved From the World Tree and This is an Insult (Shinkenkai Book 1) There's a very old weapon at the center of this story. It has killed kings. It has ended wars. It has watched empires rise and collapse into dust. It is currently being used to scratch the boy's lower back. It is not happy about this. Musashi and the Loudest Stick in Shinkenkai is the story of a boy who wanted a sword and got something cosiderably more complicated—an ancient sentient weapon with opinions about everything, delivered at volumes completely inappropriate for an inanimate object. The stick is always right. That's the worst part. If you've ever read a chosen one story and thought this kid is way too confident for someone who hasn't earned it yet, this one's different. Clan wars, blood feuds, a Demon Lord nobody's ready for, and somewhere underneath all of it, a coming of age story that earns every hit it lands. It's funny until it isn't. Then it's both at the same time. What Readers Think: I ****ing love Musashi bro, and his dad is funny asl too ❤️ 😭 The character dynamics are honestly the highlight for me,keep up the great work! lol that was a fun chapter! The characters are very likable and unique. The battle scenes are very well done and flow well. Book Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H3WBXMHS
