This stuff on the indoor coil. And Diluted simple green on the outdoor. Rinsing the outdoor thoroughly and completely removing all of the cleaner. Water pressure should be shower like pattern and not disfigure or bend any fins at all. And pull the plug in your disconnect before you start fucking with either one. https://www.amazon.com/Nu-Calgon-4171-75-Rinse-Evaporator-Cleaner/dp/B00DM8KQ3I/ref=asc_df_B00DM8KQ3I?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80058400532007&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=m&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=67560&hvtargid=pla-4583657879354048&psc=1&hvocijid=7005793100975710530-B00DM8KQ3I-&hvexpln=0
AC Coil cleaner is great. https://a.co/d/0gXZYuEo
Not sure if you have access to the evaporator coil of your AC unit, but if you do, you might try spraying it with this. Has worked well for me to get rid of odors, particularly one that is called "dirty sock syndrome" in HVAC discussions.
