There’s a few reviews on youtube that convinced me to get them. I’ve dropped them and they take without any trouble. Just ensure the screw keeping the plates in are hand tight and you’ll be alright.

They do take a bit more time to adjust but they're pretty robust, droppable and no clanging since the adjustment tightens them up. Also upgradable up to 160lb Their newer model is hexagonal if you like that better There's also ironmasters that are similar but a little pricier
