I use this when traveling: https://a.co/d/0eqVkuSG and this at home: https://a.co/d/04ZJwxF4 the iPad always sits above my MacBook Pro which sits in my lap on this: https://a.co/d/094FIiDI It really irks me that Universal control doesn't allow virtual placement of the iPad above the Mac screen, which it can do with an extended display.
