Hate to be the pusher of chinese parts but this gets you a functional mount and light for mockup/trashblasting purposes...wouldnt run it on my SHTF rig but the airsoft/milsim guys beat on their guns harder than this sub (generally) does and they hold up well enough for them that ive been toying with a pair for a while and my blowback 9 suppressed subgun is harder on parts than any of my 556 or 300blk rigs. Not many light mounts out there work well with the PSA AKV but (shhh i got asked to leave that sub then threatened by a mod and called a shill so I dont post there) the thorntail works like a freaking champ on the AKV (handguard has "odd" angles).
